Lacrosse Named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

Twelve Lions earn IWLCA Academic honors.
NEW YORK—The Columbia women's lacrosse team has been named a 2021 Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, while 12 Lions earned a spot on the NCAA Division I Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced.
Columbia is one of 320 schools across NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA to be named an Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Additionally, juniors Rachel Graff, Kate Kelly, Payton Lill, Katherine Lutz, Sydney Paoletti, and Ryan Schlageter, along with seniors Alexandria Absey, Cara Jones, Leah Jones, Alison Schwasnick, Devon Stuzin, and Chelsea Witteck each were tabbed Academic Honor Roll selections. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 of greater for the academic year.
