Clinics available on January 26, February 8 and April 18
NEW YORK – Dates and registration for the Columbia Women's Soccer Winter ID Camps have been announced. Participants can choose from three dates of Winter ID Clinics – January 26, February 8 and April 18.
Prospective student-athletes will have the opportunity to step on the field and learn from Columbia women's soccer coaching staff. During the 2023 season, Columbia women's soccer coaching staff led the team to its first NCAA Tournament victory in program history, a Top Drawer Soccer National Ranking of #22 and an RPI as high as #20. The Lions followed that up with a runner-up finish in the Ivy League regular season standings in 2024. Columbia also achieved a Top 10 regional ranking in the United Soccer Coaches poll for most of the 2024 season. View the 2024 schedule by clicking HERE.
SUMMER ID CLINICS (girls in 8th grade and beyond)
- Session I: January 26
- Session II: February 8
- Session III: April 18
Winter ID Clinics are the best way for potential recruits to be identified for the Columbia coaching staff. Many players on Columbia's active roster, along with several Columbia women's soccer alumni, have been identified by the program through these clinics. The ID Clinics allow prospective student athletes to get to know coaches and current players while getting an understanding of what it would be like to be part of Columbia women's soccer program.
The Elite Academic & Athletic College ID Clinic is directed by Head Coach Tracey Bartholomew, and the coaching staff at Columbia University. This clinic provides aspiring collegiate student-athletes with the opportunity to showcase their abilities. This summer the coaching staff will expose players to the training methods and activities of the Columbia Women's Soccer Team. This clinic includes technical and tactical sessions that match the demands of the college game, and finishes with full size 11 v. 11 games in Rocco B. Commisso stadium.
We hope that each Prospective Student Athlete will leave the clinic having learned new skills and how to apply those skills in exciting and challenging game situations. The NYC Soccer Academy will provide excellent facilities and a highly capable and enthusiastic staff. Prospective Student Athletes will have the opportunity to compete against other talented players from around the country and will hopefully create an ideal environment to showcase their talents.
