Last Time Out

Columbia defeated Dartmouth 8-1 in game one before sweeping the series with a 19-13 win in game two of Sunday's doubleheader from Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park.

Columbia has won eight games in a row (currently tied for fourth-longest winning streak in the country) and just swept its second straight Ivy League series. The Lions belted six home runs over the weekend off the Dartmouth pitching staff and have now swept the Big Green in back-to-back series. Columbia holds a two-game lead over Cornell for first place in the league standings.

Ivy Accolades Keep Coming

Jack Cooper was named Ivy League Player of the Week for the second time this season, while infielder Eric Jeon was tabbed Co-Rookie of the Week for the first time of his career, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Home Cooking

Columbia is 35-6 at home since the beginning of 2022 and 10-1 this season. The Lions are averaging 9.9 runs per game in home contests this year.

All-Time Wins Leader

Columbia head coach Brett Boretti became the program's all-time wins leader with Saturday's 19-6 victory over Dartmouth from Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park.

It was the 360th win of Boretti's 19-year Columbia career, surpassing Hall of Famer Paul Fernandes for the all-time rank in program history. Boretti is now sixth all-time in wins amongst Ivy League coaches since the conference was formed in 1956.

Statistical Leaders

The Lions lead the Ivy League in doubles, home runs, runs scored, and slugging percentage. Columbia has also grounded into the fewest double plays (nine). Individually, Jack Cooper leads the conference with 34 RBIs.

Series History - Fordham

The Lions are 57-72-2 all-time against the Rams and have won two straight over Fordham, including last year's matchup in The Bronx.

On Deck

Columbia hosts Yale for a three-game series on Alumni Weekend. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday's series finale starts at 12 p.m. Saturday is also Lou Gehrig ALS Day.
