Three sessions of Summer ID Clinics, three youth camp weeks available
NEW YORK – Dates and registration for the 2024 NYC Soccer Academy camps have been announced. Campers can choose from three different sessions of Summer ID Clinics, as well as three different weeks of camps and one date for an elite skills youth girls clinic.
Prospective student-athletes will have the opportunity to step on the field and learn from Columbia women's soccer coaching staff. In the 2023 season, Columbia women's soccer coaching staff led the team to its first NCAA Tournament victory in program history, a Top Drawer Soccer National Ranking of #22 and an RPI as high as #20.
SUMMER ID CLINICS (girls in 8th grade and beyond)
- Session I: June 7
- Session II: July 19
- Session III: August 2-3
Summer ID Clinics are the best way for potential recruits to be identified for the Columbia coaching staff. Many players on Columbia's active roster, along with several Columbia women's soccer alumni, have been identified by the program through these clinics. The ID Clinics allow prospective student athletes to get to know coaches and current players while getting an understanding of what it would be like to be part of Columbia women's soccer program.
The Elite Academic & Athletic College ID Clinic is directed by Head Coach Tracey Bartholomew, and the coaching staff at Columbia University. The coaching staff will also be joined by several coaches from DIII schools. Past coaches include NYU, Williams, Wesleyan, Vassar, Stevens Institute and Connecticut College. This clinic provides aspiring collegiate student-athletes with the opportunity to showcase their abilities. This summer the coaching staff will expose players to the training methods and activities of the Columbia Women's Soccer Team. This clinic includes technical and tactical sessions that match the demands of the college game, and finishes with full size 11 v. 11 games in Rocco B. Commisso stadium.
We hope that each Prospective Student Athlete will leave the clinic having learned new skills and how to apply those skills in exciting and challenging game situations. The NYC Soccer Academy will provide excellent facilities and a highly capable and enthusiastic staff. Prospective Student Athletes will have the opportunity to compete against other talented players from around the country and will hopefully create an ideal environment to showcase their talents.
