Columbia is coming off a successful fall, earning three top-three finishes across four tournaments. A major highlight came at the Princeton Invitational (Oct. 4-5), in which the Lions set a new 54-hole team record at 14-over-par 866. First year Kristina Xu was a co-medalist, one of her two individual victories so far in her rookie season.
Xu led the Lions with a stroke average of 73.25 this past fall, including her wins at The Battle at the Creek and Princeton Invitational. She earned three top 25s in those four tournaments.

The Lions were also bolstered by an impressive young lineup all fall. Sophomore Sarah Shao (74.17), first year Bridget Chantharath (74.92), sophomore Christine Chang (75.08) and first year Camille Thai (75.75) rounded out the top five in stroke average. Shao earned a tie for third at the Battle at the Creek. Chantharath earned hardware with a runner-up finish at the Red Bandanna Invitational.
The Lions also tested themselves against some of the top-ranked programs in college golf this past fall and shot their lowest team round in program history at the Windy City Collegiate Classic. Columbia shot a final round 2-under-par 286, competing alongside a stacked 11-team field that included Northwestern, Augusta, Duke, Illinois, Iowa State, Michigan State, Purdue, SMU, Stanford and UCLA. Tournament host Northwestern won the 2025 NCAA Women's Golf Championship. Nearly all of those teams finished in the Top 50 of the final 2025 NCAA Division I rankings, including No. 1 Stanford and No. 10 Northwestern.
