Personal: Former distance runner at Denver East High School in Colorado … Earned four letters in both track and cross country during his prep career … A four-time first team Denver Public Schools cross country honoree … Earned Nike All-Region honors and was a Footlocker third team All-American in 2017 … Posted personal bests of 4:20 in the 1 Mile, 9:13 in the 3,200m, and 15:06 over the 5K cross country course … The son of Jennifer Reich and David Scudamore, who was the 1997 U.S. Marathon Champion and a standout runner at Stanford.
