Personal: Participated in pole vault, long jump, triple jump, and the sprint events at Dunlap High School in Illinois … Part of the Illinois State 2A Championship teams in 2017 and 2018 … Cleared a career best 12-0 during her junior season, when she was fifth at state … Also was an All-American in cheerleading, and took sixth place at nationals in Arco solo Dance … The daughter of Lucinda Uphoff and Nicholas Bertschy.
