Won the title in the weight throw at the Dartmouth-Yale-Columbia (Jan. 18) meet with a mark of 59-7.75/18.18m ... (OTF) Put up season bests of 13.02m in the shot put, 44.01m in the discus, and 56.53m in the hammer throw … Took seventh at Outdoor Heps in the hammer with a 54.51m effort … Was second in the hammer throw during the Yale Springtime Invitational at 55.95m.

Personal: Competed in the throws at Commack High School in Long Island ... Took part in both the indoor and outdoor New Balance Nationals in 2017 ... An All-State honoree in the shot put, taking third place at the state meet ... Owns school records in the shot put, weight throw, and hammer throw ... Posted career bests of 55-0.5 in the shot put, 170-3 in the discus, 650.5 in the weight throw, and 187-10 in the hammer throw ...  Also played left tackle and defensive end on the Commack football team, earning all-division honors ...
