2015: Started all 16 games for the Lions... Scored the first goal of her collegiate career and the first team goal of the season in a 3-0 victory over Wagner (8/30)... Aided the Lions' defense in five shutouts on the year.
2014: Played in all 17 games for the Lions in her rookie season… Helped the back line stifle Yale’s offense for Columbia’s ninth shutout of the season (11/01)… Played strong defense in a double-overtime performance to preserve a 0-0 tie against Albany (9/19)… Was instrumental on the back line for the Lions and shut down Seton Hall’s offense in a 0-0 tie (9/15).
At Scripps Ranch: The three-sport athlete in soccer, track, and volleyball was a four-time letter-winner on the pitch. The two-time team captain earned First Team All-League honors in her junior season. She helped guide the Falcons to a San Diego CIF Championship Finals appearance. Neshat also garnered back-to-back All-Academic Team awards in her junior and senior seasons. The California native will join her twin sister, Holly, on the pitch for Columbia’s 2014 campaign.
