Lions Headed to Harvard for Season Finale

Columbia will play its final game of the 2018 season Saturday at Harvard
NEW YORK — The Columbia women's soccer team will wrap up the 2018 season on Saturday, traveling to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to face off against Harvard at 1 p.m. ET.
Fans can watch the match live via ESPN+, with live results available at GoCrimson.com.
The Lions enter Saturday's contest with an 8-6-1 overall record, including a 4-2 mark in Ivy League competition. Currently sitting third overall in the conference standings with 12 points, Columbia has a chance to finish second in the league standings with a win or draw against Harvard.
Fresh off back-to-back Ivy League wins, Columbia looks to continue its winning ways in Saturday's battle against the Crimson. Last time out saw the Lions take down Yale, 2-0, on the road. First-year Jess Schildkraut knocked in her second goal in as many games to put Columbia ahead early before senior Amaris Hemmings tacked on a second-half insurance goal.
Ten different Columbia players have scored goals this season, with seven netting multiple goals in 2018. Junior Maddie Temares leads the Lions with four goals on the season, while senior Emma Anderson and sophomore Jordyn Geller each have three goals apiece.
The Crimson sit at 6-7-1, 3-2-1 Ivy heading into Saturday's match. Harvard is coming off two straight losses after falling 2-0 at Princeton on Oct. 20 and dropping a 3-1 decision at Dartmouth a week ago.
Harvard is led by senior Leah Mohammadi, who has seven goals and two assists on the season.
Each of the last two contests in the series have gone to extra minutes, including last season's match which ended in a scoreless draw. Columbia has not defeated the Crimson since 2007.
