10 Lions Recognized as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

Sarah Mikami named to the list for the fourth time
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2025-26 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors Tuesday afternoon. Ten members of the Columbia softball team were recognized on the list.
Columbia's All-America Scholar-Athletes include Georgia Corey, Emmy Davis, Tatum Hubble, Charlotte Laidler, Kyra Mason, Savanna Messner, Sarah Mikami, Juju O'Brien, Brianna Santangelo, and Payton Shimansky.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. 2,544 athletes from NCAA Division I earned a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. With the 13 Lions on the list this year, Columbia has had at least seven athletes every year since 2016.
Mikami earns the honor for the fourth time in her career. It is the third time on the list for Hubble and Shimansky, and the third time for Davis and O'Brien.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. 2,637 NCAA Division I student-athletes earned a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2025-26.
