2015: Started one game and saw time in six others during his final season.
2014: Saw time in three games, including one start against Marist (9/9).
2013: Played 793 minutes over 15 games, making seven starts … Key defensive contributor to Columbia’s five shutouts … Credited with an assist on Jack Gagne’s goal in a 3-3 tie against Yale (11/2) … Had two shots, one on net versus Harvard (11/9).
2012: Saw action in seven matches, making two starts as a first-year ... Played 41 minutes in the season-opener against Fairfield (8/31/12) ... Made first start of his career in 1-1 tie at Yale (10/27/12) ... Played 85 minutes in Columbia's 1-0 shutout of Harvard (11/3/12).
McDonough School: A four-time soccer letterwinner at the McDonough School, Shinsky emerged as a four-sport athlete. He was a two-time captain in 2010 and 2011 receiving All-Metro honors in his senior season. Shinsky also had summer success as a two time USYSA State Champion in 2008 and 2009. His team went on to win the USYSA National Championship in 2009.
