Softball Hit-A-Thon Scheduled for Saturday

Register today to support Columbia softball's third annual Hit-A-Thon
NEW YORK — The Columbia softball team will hold its third annual Hit-A-Thon this Saturday following its doubleheader against Penn. Family, friends, alumnae and fans will have four ways to make their donation in support of the Columbia softball program.

OPTION 1: Hit-A-Thon Pledge Per Foot
Select one member of the Columbia softball team and pledge a dollar amount per foot of the longest home run they hit. The member you select gets 10 swings to try and hit the ball as far as possible. The distance of her longest hit will be recorded. Please note that a ball hit to the fence is 200 feet and a ball hit over the fence is a maximum of 225 feet. Each member of the Columbia softball team will get 10 swings to try to hit the ball as far as possible. This pledge can be made by selecting "Make a Hit-A-Thon Pledge" after clicking the green "Register" button on the Eventbrite link. Pledge payments will be collected at the event or when the Penn series is completed.
OPTION 2: Home Run Challenge
Pledge to make a gift per home run hit by the Columbia softball team over the course of the weekend series against Penn. This pledge can be made by selecting "Make a Hit-A-Thon Pledge" after clicking the green "Register" button on the Eventbrite link. Pledge payments will be collected when the Penn series is completed.

OPTION 4: Step Up to the Plate
Pledge $30 to get your opportunity to step up to the plate for 10 swings. The team is allowing up to 20 people to show what they've got! This pledge can be made my selecting "Get your own 10 Swings!" after clicking the green "Register" button on the Eventbrite link. Pledge payments will be collected on site or when the Penn series is completed.
