Columbia Baseball's Jack Kail Earns ABCA/Rawling All-Region Honors

The senior second baseman was named to the All-Northeast Region Second Team
NEW YORK. — Columbia baseball's Jack Kail was named to the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Northeast Region Second Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
The McMurray, Pennsylvania, native anchored Columbia's offense throughout the season, finishing fourth in the Ivy League with a .337 batting average. Kail totaled 57 hits, 15 doubles, two home runs, and 37 RBI, while striking out just nine times in 169 at-bats. He was a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts.
He was one of the nation's toughest to strike out and a unanimous first team All-Ivy League selection for the second year in a row. Additionally, Kail inked his name in the program history with 127 career RBI, ranking fourth in program history.
The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-America teams will be announced on Friday, June 12, prior to the start of the NCAA Division I College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove finalists is set to be announced on Monday, June 15, via X by Rawlings Sporting Goods (@RawlingsSports), followed by the Gold Glove winners in all divisions on Wednesday, June 17.
