2019: NFCA Scholar-Athlete … Appeared in 20 games … Scored four runs and was 1-for-3 at the plate … Picked up her first collegiate hit and went 1-for-2 as part of a 4-1 victory over Lafayette (March 19) … Stole her first base against Yale (April 21) … Scored her first run in the opener against Penn and went on to score two runs in the series (April 27-28) … Scored a run in the series against Brown (May 3) … Pinch ran and scored in Game 1 of the Ivy League Playoff Series against Harvard (May 10).

Prior to Columbia: Four-year member of Flower Mound High School’s softball team ... Helped the Jaguars to district titles in 2017 and 2018, as well as a bi-district championship and area championship in 2018 ... Hit .364 as a senior to receive honorable mention all-district recognition ... Played club ball for Texas Rapid Fire, finishing ninth at the 2017 ASA Gold Nationals ... Two-time all-district academic selection (2017, 2018) ... 2018 all-state academic honoree ... National Merit Scholar Finalist ... Only junior girl at Flower Mound to earn the Scholar Award for AP English III.

Personal: Born March 22, 2000 in Grapevine, Texas ... Daughter of Penny and Tony Apollaro ... Both parents are former student-athletes and 1993 graduates of Columbia College ... Mother, the former Penny Schneider, played volleyball at Columbia from 1989-92 ... Father, Tony, played baseball at Columbia from 1990-93 ... Intends to major in political science with future plans of becoming a lawyer.
