NEW YORK – For the third consecutive season the Columbia baseball team will square off against Dartmouth in the Ivy League Championship Series on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, if necessary, at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium.
The best-of-three series will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch set for noon. Game two's approximate start time is 3 p.m., or about 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The third game of the series will be played Sunday at 1 p.m., if necessary.
The Championship Series is an Ivy League event. There will be a nominal admission charge for all fans; ticket prices are set by The Ivy League. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for Children 10 and under, and $2 for Columbia/Barnard and other Ivy League students with valid ID. As a special promotion, the first 200 students get FREE admission (sponsored by Columbia Athletics).
Ticket purchases are available on gameday only, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. A separate admission will be charged for each day (if necessary). All tickets for the Ivy League Championship Series are for general admission seating and/or standing room in and around Satow Stadium; there will be no reserved seating locations. Complimentary tickets are not available.
Columbia Athletics will provide a free shuttle to the Baker Athletics Complex for fans. Shuttles to the game depart from Amsterdam Avenue between 117 and 118 Streets every 30 minutes beginning at 10 a.m. Shuttles will return to this location immediately following the game.
Automobile parking at the Baker Athletics Complex is extremely limited, and available only on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid delays, and the possibility of being turned away at the parking gate, we encourage all fans to use mass transit. A list of parking garages in the Inwood neighborhood is available on Google Maps.
Baker Athletics Complex is accessible via the 1 or A trains. Fans can ride the 1 train to the 215th stop and make the short walk to 218th and Broadway or take the A train to the 207th stop and walk north on Broadway to the complex.
