Women’s Soccer Plays to 1-1 Draw at Dartmouth

Kat Jordan scored Columbia’s lone goal
HANOVER, N.H. – The Columbia women's soccer team finished the week with its second consecutive draw Sunday afternoon in a 1-1 finish at Dartmouth. The Lions move to 7-2-3 overall for the season and 1-1-2 in Ivy League play.
Senior midfielder Kat Jordan found the net early in the contest as she scored in the 13th minute to give Columbia the lead. Fellow senior Grace Hurren was credited with the assist. With the goal, Jordan continues to lead the team in goals scored this season with five total.
Columbia held its lead for about 12 minutes before the Big Green evened the score. Dartmouth's Daisy Granholm scored her third goal of the season on assists by Hailey Rorick and Hannah Curtin.
The Lions outshot Dartmouth, 19-8 in the contest with four shots on goal compared to Dartmouth's two. Junior defender Ania Prussak tallied two shots on goal, but could not convert at the net. Senior forward Nata Ramirez also chipped in with a shot on goal.
Senior goalkeeper Paige Nurkin played all 90 minutes in the net as she allowed one goal and registered one save in the draw.
