A Look Back at Opening Weekend
The Lions played three tight contests to open the year at Kennesaw State last weekend. Columbia earned a 10-5 win in 10 innings on opening day, before dropping the final two games 10-9 and 7-5. Griffin Palfrey drove in five runs to lead the squad, while Sam Miller and Anton Lazits hit .400 on the weekend.
Scouting Oregon
The Ducks enter the weekend at 6-2 and are averaging 9.1 runs per game through their first eight games. Oregon is one of just five teams in the nation that has advanced to the Super Regionals each of the last two years, and the only club to claim regional titles on the road both seasons.
Up Next
Columbia will head back to Georgia to take on the No. 6 Bulldogs for a three-game series from March 7-9 in Athens.
