Appeared in 18 games making 14 starts … went 4-for-41 from the plate … scored eight runs and drove in six … two of her four hits were home runs … in the win over Pitt she went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs … clubbed her second home run of the year in the win over Portland State on Mar. 15 … was 2-for-2 in stone base attempts.

Appeared and started in all 40 games as a sophomore… Went 25-for-106 at the plate for a .236 average… Recorded 61 total bases on the season… Hit 10 home runs which is tied for the most in a single season ... Messner started all 20 conference games and hit five home runs, which was tied for third place in the Ivy League… Named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
