Lacrosse Unable To Contend with Dartmouth

Hanover, NH -- Columbia lacrosse (2-9, 0-3 Ivy) fell to league opponent Dartmouth, 6-22, in Hanover, New Hampshire. First-year Dani Falcone netted a pair of goals to continue to lead the Lions in total goals (17). Falcone recorded draw controls on the afternoon.
Fellow Lions Sydney Paoletti, Rachel Graff, Noelle DeMarinis, and Kate Cunning found the back of the net once each, contributing to Columbia's third consecutive six-goal game.
Senior Ryan Schlageter earned the start in goal before ceding the remainder of the game to junior Madison Levinson. Levinson turned away five shoots over 41 minutes of action while leading the team in ground balls (3).
Defensively, Justine Decker scooped a trio of ground balls while causing a Columbia-best three turnovers.
Columbia will return to Manhattan, next Saturday, in a 1:00 P.M. Senior Day clash against Harvard.
