Class of 2030 hopes to make big impact for Columbia
NEW YORK — The lacrosse program and Head Coach Anne Murray have officially announced the addition of nine newcomers that will be joining the team for the upcoming 2027 season.
The class consists of five midfielders, three defenders, and one attack coming from eight different states.

Mia Metcalf – Fy. – M – 5-8 – CC – Naples, Florida / Community School of Naples / Lax Maniax

A midfielder from Naples, Florida … Four-year varsity lacrosse player and two-year varsity cross country runner at Community School of Naples … Earned All-America honors in 2026 after helping lead the Seahawks to back-to-back state final four appearances during her junior and senior seasons … Named the 2026 Southwest Florida Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year … Two-time Academic All-American (2025, 2026) … Three-time First Team All-Area selection (2024-26) and served as team captain during her junior and senior seasons … Competed for Lax Maniax for five years … Has played lacrosse for the past eight years.
