Lacrosse Recognized by IWLCA for Academic Achievements

Program named Honor Squad, 11 Lions named to Honor Roll
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Columbia lacrosse team has been named a 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad, the organization made official late in July. Columbia qualified for the award after maintaining a team GPA of 3.2 or higher throughout the academic year.
Additionally, 11 Lions were recognized on the 2026 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Overall, the IWLCA tabbed 357 programs across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as Honor Squads while naming 1,209 student-athletes from 122 different institutions to the Honor Roll. Releases from the IWLCA, which included every single honoree for both awards, can be found above.
