Baseball Reveals Challenging 2025 Schedule

The defending Ivy League Champions are slated to play four NCAA Tournament teams from last year
NEW YORK — Columbia baseball head coach Brett Boretti has announced the program's 2025 schedule, featuring 41 games with 11 of them being played at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium.
Since 2012, Columbia leads the Ivy League with 152 conference wins, 11 wins over ranked opponents, six NCAA Tournament wins, and six Ivy League Championships. The Lions are 40-9 at home over the last three seasons.
"We have put together another very challenging schedule for 2025," Boretti said. "The early weekend trips and the tough midweek schedule will prepare us well for Ivy League play."
The Lions square off with four opponents who reached the NCAA Tournament last season (Oregon, Georgia, San Diego, and Penn).
The Lions open the 2025 season with a three-game series at Kennesaw State Feb. 21-23. The only meetings between the two teams came during a four-game set in 2014.
Columbia then travels across the country to play Oregon Feb. 28-March 2 for four games. It will be the Lions' first trip to Eugene in program history. Columbia's tough non-conference slate continues with a three-game set at Georgia March 7-9.
The Lions hit the west coast again for a four-game series at San Diego (March 14-17) and then a midweek matchup at Cal-State Northridge (March 18). Columbia and the Matadors will meet for the first time since 2009.
Columbia returns to New York City for its home opener and first Ivy League test against Brown. The Lions and Bears will battle on March 22-23. Columbia has won 10 straight home openers going back to 2013. The Lions are 12-5 in home openers since 2006.
Three days later, Columbia welcomes Manhattan on March 26. The Lions are at Princeton March 29-30 for their first Ivy League road contests. Following a midweek matchup at Hofstra on April 2, Columbia hosts Cornell April 5-6.
Columbia then plays at Fordham (April 9) and at Yale (April 12-13) before its final home games of the regular season. The Lions meet Fairfield on April 15 and then host Dartmouth April 19-20 for the final home series of 2025.
Columbia closes out the regular season slate with a seven-game road trip. On April 23, the Lions travel to Stony Brook for the final midweek game of the season. Columbia plays at Penn for the penultimate series of the season April 26-27. The Lions wrap up Ivy League play on May 3-4 at Harvard.
The Ivy League Tournament is set for May 16-19 at the top seed's home field. The winner will advance to the NCAA Regionals on May 30-June 2. The NCAA Super Regionals are scheduled for June 6-9 with the College World Series slated for June 13-23 in Omaha, Neb.
