LAST TIME OUT
Last time out, the Lions picked up their third non-conference win of the season with a 16-8 victory over the Wagner Seahawks.
Career nights from Dani Falcone and Cecelia Messner helped lead the way for the Lions. A career-high five goals from Falcone and a career-high matching five goals from Messner sealed the deal and improved Columbia to 3-4 in out-of-conference contests, with three of the four losses coming by just one goal.
Along with Messner and Falcone, Sophie Zachara also had a hat trick which was her first since February of last year. Anna Becker and Michelle Zhai both chipped in a goal and an assist. Zachara had a team-high four ground balls while Falcone added a team-high four draw controls.
