Baseball
Columbia opened the 2026 season with a challenging road series at Mercer, dropping all three contests despite early offensive flashes. The Lions surged ahead 8–1 in the opener before Mercer's late rally, including a seven-run eighth, flipped the game in a 14–8 defeat. Game two saw Columbia strike first, but Mercer's power surge created separation. In Sunday's finale, homers from Vogler and Estabrook kept the Lions close, yet a five-run inning proved decisive in a 5–4 loss.

The Lions earned their fourth top-three finish over five events on the 2025-26 academic year. For the second time this season, they broke the program's single-round scoring record, as Kristina Xu, Sarah Shao, Emily Zeng, Bridget Chantharath and Christine Chang combined for a second-round 6-under-par 282.
