Lila Wittemyer is a 5'8'' defender from Denver, Colorado. While there she was named First Team All-State and All-League in 2024, this after being named a 2023 US Lacrosse Academic All-American in 2023, and First Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-State in 2022. Wittemyer was also named the team's 2023 defensive MVP. Off the field, she was named a National Merit Finalist, was the winner of the Anne Sayre Taggart '72 Award in Science, the winner of The Hilary H. Carlson Prize for Scholarship, and was named an AP Scholar with Distinction.

"Lila's athleticism is undeniable," Murray said. "Her balanced play will certainly fit well with our defensive systems."
