Lacrosse Set to Welcome #11 Princeton on Wednesday

The Lions and Tigers will meet in a rescheduled clash on Wednesday evening.
NEW YORK -- The Columbia lacrosse team (2-11, 0-5 Ivy) will welcome cross-Hudson rival #11 Princeton (10-3, 5-0 Ivy) to the Baker Athletic Complex on Wednesday at 4:00 P.M.. The contest will mark the Lions' final home competition of 2022.

IVY LEAGUE HONOR ROLL
This week, first-trick Dani Falcone collected a hat trick of Ivy League Honor Roll recognitions. The Lions' leading scorer was also honored by the league after Week 4 and Week 8.
STATISTICAL LEADERS
Falcone leads the Lions in both total goals (23) and points (28) followed by senior Rachel Graff (18 goals, 23 points). Graff's classmates Katie Lutz and Sydney Paoletti have contributed 20 points each with Lutz finding the back of the net 14 times. Paoletti leads Columbia in assists (10).
Off the draw, Falcone and sophomore Sophia Zachara have secured a team-best 34 controls. Lutz sits in second with 32.
On the other end of the field, junior Adèle Swanson's 21 ground balls pace the program. Meanwhile, Falcone and fellow-first year Kate Cunning have combined for 33 caused turnovers.
In goal, Simone Koryszewski has seen 375 minutes of action while owning a .413 save percentage. Senior keeper Ryan Schlageter has also played over 300 minutes, earning six starts.
THE OPPONENT
Undefeated in conference play, Princeton has defeated Cornell (13-12), Brown (18-6), Dartmouth (17-5), Penn (15-13), and Harvard (14-9). The Tigers three losses this season all came at the hands of top-ten ranked opponents including #5 Stony Brook and #7 Loyola.
The Tigers are undoubtedly led by Tewaaraton Award nominee Kyla Sears. The reigning Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week leads the conference in total goals (42), goals per game (3.23), total points (65), and points per game (5). In Princeton's last two outings, Sears has recorded 11 points off seven goals.
Sam Fish has played every minute of Princeton's 13 games in goal. She has made 130 saves on 381 shots faced for a .450 save percentage.
