Lacrosse Travels to Penn for Season Finale

The Lions and Quakers will meet at noon on Sunday.
NEW YORK -- The Columbia lacrosse team (2-12, 0-6 Ivy) will travel to Philadelphia for a noon contest at the University of Pennsylvania (5-9, 2-5 Ivy) on Sunday. The contest will mark the Lions' final competition of 2022.

IVY LEAGUE HONOR ROLL
This week, first-trick Dani Falcone collected a hat trick of Ivy League Honor Roll recognitions. The Lions' leading scorer was also honored by the league after Week 4 and Week 8.
STATISTICAL LEADERS
With 25 goals and 31 points on the season, first-year Dani Falcone leads the Lions offensively. She is closesly followed by senior Rachel Graff with 21 goals on 26 total points. Classmate Sydney Paoletti has proven herself to be the Lions' most productive playmaker, dishing out a team-high 11 assists. Paoletti ranks tenth in the Ivy League in assists per game (.85).
Defensively, Adèle Swanson has collected a program-best 23 ground balls while Falcone has caused 11 total turnovers.
First year Simone Koryszewski and senior Ryan Schlageter have earned seven starts in goal each, with Koryszewski holding a 10-9 edge in total games played. Alongside junior Madison Levinson, Columbia's goalkeeping unit averages a 17.85 goals against average with a .439 save percentage.
THE OPPONENT
In Penn's last outing, the Quakers defeated league-rival Dartmouth 12-4 in Hanover. Rookies Anna Brandt and Keely Block powered the victory, recording four goals each. The first-year duo represents Penn's best scorers, finding the back of the net 23 and 21 times, respectively.
Junior Niki Miles' 16 assists are a team-best.
Senior Krissy Kowlaski has earned nine starts on 13 apperances in goal. She averages 9.71 goals against over nearly 600 minutes of play. Junior Kelly Van Hoesen owns a .424 save percentage after making five starts over eight appearances.
