Unanimous first team All-Ivy League selection ... Led the Lions with a career-high 52 points behind 24 goals and a team-leading and personal-best 28 assists ... Also had team-leading marks of 43 ground balls, 45 caused turnovers and 70 draw controls on the season ... Continued to fill the record books, breaking Columbia's single-season record with 45 caused turnovers ... Became the first player in school history to surpass 100 career caused turnovers (133) ... Third-most ground balls in a single season with 50, along with 31 goals, and a career-best 12 assists for 43 points on offense ... Scored a goal in the season finale at #5 Princeton (4/29) ... HIGH SCHOOL
A two-sport athlete in soccer and lacrosse, Ewertsen was a four-time letter-winner as a midfielder for the Montclair High School lacrosse team. Ewertsen was essential to the Mounties' 2015 Essex County Championship, tallying 114 points behind 78 goals and 36 assists during her senior season. To cap her senior campaign, she received All-Conference First Team, All-Essex County First Team, NJ State All-Group IV First Team and NJ All-State Third Team honors. Ewertsen also led the Mounties soccer team to a Group IV State Championship in 2014. She graduated from Montclair as a member of the National Honor Society.
