Lions Welcome Hofstra for Final Non-Conference Test

Columbia will take on Hofstra on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+
NEW YORK – The Columbia women's lacrosse team will square off against its final non-conference opponent of the season, bringing in Hofstra on Saturday for a 7 p.m. ET matchup at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium.
Saturday's game, along with all home contests in 2019, can be watched live on ESPN+. Live statistics are available via GoColumbiaLions.com.
Columbia (3-7) is coming off a two-game week which saw the Lions fall to Villanova in overtime and drop a tough match against Dartmouth. Senior midfielder Lindsey Ewertsen continues to lead Columbia in its scoring efforts with a team-high 34 points behind 16 goals and 18 assists. Sophomore attacker Alexandria Absey paces the Lions with a team-high 20 goals in 2019.
SCOUTING HOFSTRA
The Pride enter Saturday's contest with a 6-4 overall record under seventh-year head coach Shannon Smith. Hofstra is also coming off a loss to Dartmouth, dropping a 16-12 decision to the Big Green on Tuesday in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Junior midfielder Alyssa Parrella leads the Pride with 48 goals on the season. First-year Jess Smith has started all 10 games in net for Hofstra, owning a .495 save percentage.
INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be the fourth meeting in the all-time series between the two teams, with Hofstra leading 3-0. Last season, the Pride claimed an 17-8 victory
