HIGH SCHOOL
Thompson was a key defender for the three-time Illinois State Championship-winning Loyola Academy team. A three-time First Team All-Conference selection, Thompson tallied career totals of 65 caused turnovers and 75 ground balls in three varsity seasons, including a career-high 31 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers in her senior year. As a senior team captain, her production and leadership earned US Lacrosse All-America honors. The Academic All-American is an AP Scholar with Distinction and showed great achievement academically. She graduated summa cum laude and is an Illinois State Scholar.
